Nation State
A nation state describes a state (c.f) whose people are members of a distinct nation. (c.f.)
How is the Nation State relevant to the Network State?
Historically, states were formed around territories by members of nations and their leaders. Throughout history, people who were not members of the nation that dominated the state they lived in have been under-represented and subjected to unfair treatment. The network state concept will allow diaspora nations to reunite in archipelagos and also allow people to self-organize under modern alternatives to national identity, uniting based on shared values in an archipelago that transcends historical borders.
