# Create Badge

### Create Badge

To create a badge, navigate to[ https://nationx.jur.io/explore](https://society.jur.io/explore), enter your society portal, and navigate to the "Badge" tab.

Select **Create**.

Upload the badge image, name your badge, provide a description, choose the badge type, and click **Create** (transaction fee - 0.0001 JUR).&#x20;

Your badge has been created. You can view it by clicking the badge name under Badge Title.

Please note that when creating a badge, being intentional about the badge type will improve a member's reputation data as it relates to your society. Here are the available badg

* **Participation** badges are for recognizing attendance to events, both virtual and physical;
* **Visa** badges are used to screen invitations to events, either for exclusivity or as a filter for designated working group members or guilds.&#x20;
* **Credential** badges are to designate roles, such as professional experience, recognizing special accolades, working group status, or guild members.
* **Rewards** badges are attached to bounties and assigned to the contributor upon completion of the task. &#x20;

### Assign Badge

To assign a badge, go to[ https://society.jur.io/explore](https://society.jur.io/explore), enter your society and navigate to the Badge tab.

Click the name of the badge you would like to assign and click **Assign**.

You can assign the badge Via Address by manually providing the member’s wallet or click the Member tab and choose the members from the list. Keep in mind, only the members who have already minted the NFT passport will be able to receive the badge. Select and click **Assign** (transaction fee - 0.0001 JUR).

The badge has been assigned. You can see the list of members, who have received the badge, at the bottom of the screen.
